Synopsis: Jacques, en direct du Paradis (devant un bureau d’une belle bibliothèque) nous narre son histoire.
Il est bibliomane.
Sa passion depuis son enfance ; acheter des livres.
Un jour il rencontre Carole, jeune bouquiniste/libraire qui tombe tout de suite amoureuse de ce bel intellectuel.
Elle pénètre l’univers du jeune homme et s’aperçoit qu’il n’a jamais lu aucun des milliers de livres qu’il possède.
En revanche il connaît par cœur les titres avec les numéros dans les éditions correspondantes.
Exaspérée, et se considérant trompée sur la marchandise, Carole fuit l’univers Kafkaïen de cet énergumène.
Les années ont passées et après un dixième déménagements trouvant son but ridicule atteint il décide de ne plus acheter de livres mais de les lire quand tout à coup un rayon de lumière pénètre la pièce.
Une dernière place pour un dernier livre.
